1960 Italy was a cheaper way to create films and gave the image a different look not only on the screen but way stuff looked like in the film.

It gave the film a dirty gritty look to it to make it look somewhat old and in westerns more intense. For certain genres this movie format was extremely good while for others it was a bad idea. It could throw off the way the movie looked and could almost give it a false pretense to what the movie is going to be about.

was created in 1970 and it had a clear picture that could show more depth of color bringing the picture to life and changing the format of movies. It changed the way people can view the movies. It started from a small group in Canada but quickly spread and as of today the newest way to watch movies.
